Emberhallow Terms of Service
Effective date: 2026-10-24
These Terms of Service ("Terms") explain the rules for using Emberhallow Online ("Emberhallow," "we," "us," or "our"). By registering for or using an account, you agree to these Terms. Please also read our Privacy Policy.
1. Who can play
You must be at least 13 years old to register. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian to use Emberhallow, and they should review these Terms with you. We may close accounts we reasonably believe belong to someone under 13.
2. Your account
Use your own account, keep your password private, and do not share access to your account with others. You are responsible for activity on your account to the extent permitted by law. Contact us promptly at support@emberhallow.com if you suspect someone has gained access without your permission. You must not impersonate another player or a member of staff.
3. Player conduct and fair play
Help keep Emberhallow welcoming and fair. You must not:
- Harass, threaten, bully, or target other people, or post hateful, sexually explicit, or illegal content.
- Share someone else's private information without permission.
- Cheat, duplicate items, abuse exploits, use unauthorized bots or modified clients, or deliberately disrupt another player's experience.
- Probe, attack, overload, bypass security on, or interfere with the game or its servers.
- Pretend to be staff, evade a suspension, or misuse reporting and moderation systems.
We may moderate in-game chat, private messages, builds, and other player-created content as described in our Privacy Policy. Please report serious problems through the game's reporting tools or our contact address.
4. Game items and progress
Items, blocks, equipment, titles, and game progress are parts of Emberhallow's service. They are not cash or legal tender, have no guaranteed monetary value, and may not be sold or exchanged for real money without our express permission. Playing the game does not transfer ownership of Emberhallow's software, artwork, or other game assets to you.
We may adjust, restore, reset, or remove in-game items, world changes, and progress to maintain the game, address misconduct, fix errors, or respond to exploits. We cannot guarantee permanent availability of any item, build, world, or character progress.
5. Your builds and other content
You retain any rights you have in original content you create, such as your own writing or original designs. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free permission to store, reproduce, transmit, display, and make technical changes to that content as reasonably needed to operate, maintain, back up, and moderate Emberhallow. This permission does not give us ownership of your original content.
Content placed in shared worlds or sent to other players may remain visible to them or be copied by them, even if your account is closed. We may remove or restrict content that violates these Terms or presents a safety or security risk, subject to applicable law.
6. Warnings, suspensions, and bans
To protect players and the service, we may remove content, undo exploit-related changes, issue warnings, mute or restrict features, suspend accounts, or close accounts for violations of these Terms. Serious violations may result in action without a prior warning. We will exercise these powers subject to applicable law.
7. Availability, changes, and liability
Emberhallow is still in development. Features, game rules, worlds, and availability may change, and bugs, downtime, or data loss may occur. We provide the service on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by law, without promising uninterrupted or error-free operation.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the game. Nothing in these Terms removes consumer rights or limits liabilities that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
8. Updates to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the game develops. We will show the current version and effective date here. When we make a material change, we will notify players and request agreement to the updated Terms before continued use where required.
